What to have ready

  • The delivery address, including the town and any gate code
  • What is going in — and specifically whether any of it is concrete, brick, soil or tile
  • Roughly how much: rooms, roof squares, pickup loads, or linear feet of deck
  • Where you want it set, and whether the surface is driveway, gravel or lot
  • When you want it, and how long you expect to need it

Not sure what size to ask for? The size comparison and the Pittsfield sizing guide will get you close, and we will confirm it on the phone.

Where we deliver

We run roll-off containers out of our Columbus Ave yard to all eleven communities we cover — Pittsfield itself, plus the real Berkshire County towns of Lanesborough, Dalton, Washington, Lenox, Richmond, Hancock, Hinsdale, Cheshire, Adams and Stockbridge, each its own full town with its own elected Select Board. Pittsfield and the closer towns are usually same-day; farther towns are typically same- or next-day. If your address is not listed, call anyway. We likely still get there.

Getting in touch — questions

What is the fastest way to get a dumpster in Pittsfield?

Call (413) 553-1676. There is no form on this site on purpose — a two-minute conversation gets you a firm price and a delivery window, where a form gets you a callback some time later. Tell us the town, the material and roughly how much of it there is, and the quote is settled on that call.

What hours can I reach you?

Mon–Sat 7:00am – 7:00pm. If you call outside those hours, leave a message with the address and the job and you will get a call back first thing. Deliveries and pickups run during business hours; a pickup can occasionally be arranged earlier by agreement.

How quickly can you deliver?

Near the yard on 260 Columbus Ave, a morning call is often a same-day delivery. Pittsfield itself and the closest towns — Lanesborough, Dalton, Lenox, Richmond and Hancock — usually run same- or next-day depending on the route that day. Washington, Hinsdale, Cheshire, Adams and Stockbridge, farther out, more often run next-day rather than same-day. Book earlier when a job is time-sensitive — jobsite swap-outs get priority over new deliveries because a full container stops a crew working.

Do you need me to be there for the delivery?

No. Mark the spot with a cone, a stake or chalk, tell us about gate codes, sloped driveways and low limbs, and keep your phone on. The driver will call before setting the container down if anything about the placement looks wrong.

What information should I have ready when I call?

The delivery address, what you are throwing away, roughly how much of it there is, where you want the container to sit, and when you want it. If it is a roof, the number of squares and the layer count. If it is concrete or soil, say so early — that changes the container before it changes the price.

Do you serve all of the Berkshires or just Pittsfield itself?

All 11 communities we cover. Pittsfield is the one city in our service area, with its own mayor-council government, and the ten surrounding communities — Lanesborough, Dalton, Washington, Lenox, Richmond, Hancock, Hinsdale, Cheshire, Adams and Stockbridge — are each their own real Massachusetts town with its own elected Select Board, not a neighborhood or a branch office of Pittsfield. Distance affects scheduling and which town office handles a permit question, and we are upfront about both. Our service area page breaks it down and explains what turnaround to expect in each.
